Ability360 is seeking writing and broadcast marketing interns to assist with identifying and developing

Position Description:

The Arizona Interscholastic Association is looking for interns who have a passion for videography and high school sports. The successful candidates will have two main functions – helping produce the Friday night Football Game of the Week broadcasts and putting together video feature packages. Other opportunities include serving as a media liaison at high school state championships, spearheading social media campaigns, writing articles, and others.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The interns must be available every Friday night during the football season to be on site for all the association’s games. All football games are broadcast on live TV with the AIA’s media partner Arizona’s Family 3/5 and simulcast onto the web (regular season is free, postseason is subscription-based) on the NFHS Network (https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/affiliates/azpreps365?drilldown=on%20demand).
Over the course of the season, the interns will execute every position on the crew, including camera operator, graphics and commercials, director/replay, social media, red hat and other production assistant duties. Experience in videography for live events is a plus but not mandatory.
Over the course of the semester, the interns will produce feature packages highlighting student-athletes and coaches. Interns will compile most of their own pieces with opportunities for peer field production work. These will be showcased on the AIA’s YouTube page, social media channels and website. This is a great chance to be on the inside of the official state association for high school sports in Arizona
and work alongside individuals who are professionals in their field. Some intern alumni have taken roles with schools, served as mentors, are sports business professionals, work within professional sports organizations, and become producers and on-air talent with TV news stations.

On-call Student Photographer: City of Chandler – Chandler, AZ

The City of Chandler Communications and Public Affairs Department is seeking qualified student photographers to acquire and edit digital images at city-sponsored events, programs and other designated assignments.
Selected photographers will take editorial, event and lifestyle photography that represent Chandler’s brand and community.
Scope of Services:
Shoot, edit and enhance digital images, including color correction, cropping, retouching, and other necessary adjustments.
Ensure delivery of edited imagesvia an online gallery, cloud storage or digital file transfer method, typically within 5 business days or as specified per assignment. City of Chandler would own the rights to use any images provided for on-call assignments completed by photographers.
Provide metadata and appropriate file naming conventions to support easy retrieval.
Photographers must provide their own professional-grade digital cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and accessories. Photographers must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to various locations within the City of Chandler.
Ability to shoot in a variety of lighting conditions, both indoor and outdoor.

A college degree opens doors of success for Arizona students. During the semester each College Ready AZ University Ambassador will be responsible for creating 10pieces of content for the College Ready AZ social accounts.
– 10 Instagram reels
Ambassadors will sign photo release forms to allow ABOR to use their content and image on the College Ready AZ website and social media.
The Ambassadors will work with the College Ready AZ social team to brainstorm content ideas that are relevant and appropriate. Ambassadors are required to come weekly with ideas for content that they can work on.
Ambassadors are required to attend a virtual Kickoff Meeting with the Arizona Board of Regents teamduring the first two weeks of the program – date will be determined based on ambassadors’ availability. At the Kickoff Meeting, ambassadors will learn about the program, meet their fellow ambassadors and create content for College Ready AZ.
Skills & Abilities
Ambassadors should be passionate about their university and the college experience. As some of the faces of College Ready AZ, the Ambassadors can have a direct impact on the college-going culture in Arizona.
Candidates must:

– Ambassadors should reshare the content created for College Ready AZ to their Instagram stories.
– Ambassadors are the face of College Ready AZ’s social accounts. They should create their content accordingly and strive to create content that features themselves and their personal experiences.
Compensation
College Ambassadors will receive a stipend of $500 for attending monthly meetings and creating 10 pieces of content for the Summer 2025 semester.

Important Details:

Media – June 15-20, 2025

Essential Duties:
Maintain a positive, professional attitude and demeanor at all times.

Conduct nightly check-in of all campers in Gordon Commons.

Complete all mandatory training and other professional requirements prior to the start of the camp.

What can you learn?
The FAST space is the quickest growing space in digital media currently. Many individuals are cutting the cord but do like the ability to consume linear media channels. ALLCITY is seeking to become the leading regional sports coverage across all platforms. In this internship you’ll gain experience in a startup environment, and you will learn hands-on vital marketplace skills.
The Job Responsibilities:
● Day-to-day production of the live show offerings on each channel
o Starting/Stopping of streams
o Clipping the shows in post-production
o Making necessary adjustments to show studios or recording times
● Adding more days to the end of the existing schedule (must stay 2 weeks up-to-date)
● Organizing the intake of Video On Demand (VOD) content from each market
● Producing live pre- and post-games
● Working directly with markets to make sure all relevant content is being sent
● Work with the Director of FAST Operations to maintain high quality of each channel
Qualifications:
● Open to students sophomore or further into their academic career
● Must have a strong ability to organize
● Some production experience or understanding is beneficial

Position Description:
Working as an intern, you will be exposed to a variety of fields including social media, production, live streaming and general content creation. You will also become familiar with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Adobe Express, YouTube analytics, social media scheduling platforms, and more. In addition to gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a fast-paced, exciting environment, you will also have the opportunity to request work projects in your particular area of interest.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist production team with creating elements for YouTube live shows, cutting clips and editing video
• Help with video and graphic creation for both live shows and social channels
• Stay up to date with all the latest with the Arizona sports teams to help with content ideation
• Attend press conferences or events when necessary to help film and/or create content
• Assist with live streaming and show post-production, including editing audio and posting to podcast platforms
Preferred Skills:
• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, etc.)
• High communication
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work well with a team
• Professionalism, can handle multiple tasks
• Having a vehicle or transportation mode to get to the office and on-location events is preferred
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in sports journalism, journalism, strategic communication, digital audiences, or related field.
• Undergraduate sophomores through graduate students are encouraged to apply.

All Sports has created a sports news division and is currently developing a television series. Rather than using seasoned correspondents, the producers decided to give up-and-coming journalists attending colleges and universities a chance to have their on-camera talents seen by the public as correspondents.
All Sports News will cover sports-related news events throughout the world. It will be providing in-studio reports, interviews, and on-the-scene commentary of both major and minor sporting events. Additionally, ALL SPORTS NEWS will provide live streaming coverage of high profile events via YouTube and Facebook
