The Cronkite School’s global initiatives connect students and scholars with international professionals, scholars and citizens; together, we’re fostering change and advancing understanding through media. 

Cronkite scholars conduct international research and global exchange: They’re combating gender-based violence in El Salvador through media campaigns, and advancing journalism education in North Macedonia. Meanwhile, Cronkite students create award-winning reporting on border issues throughout the world, explore media landscapes in Cuba, tell stories through photojournalism in Rwanda, and more.
