How to stay connected with Cronkite

How to stay connected with your student

  • Check the ASU Academic Calendar and talk to your student about key dates.
  • Monitor Cronkite Career Services for information on internships, jobs and professional development opportunities.
  • Urge your student to apply for Cronkite scholarships each year.
  • Ask your student about their wellbeing: Are they eating well? Getting exercise? Making friends? Joining clubs? College is more than grades! If your student is struggling, remind them they have free, 24/7 access to ASU Counseling Services.
  • Homesickness is common. Be sure your student has a comfort item from home, and schedule regular chats. Be sure your student knows you’re staying busy while they’re gone, and that their persistence will pay off!

How to contact us

  • If you have questions about classes, curriculum, student experience and academic matters, please contact the Cronkite School’s leadership team. The Cronkite School may not discuss grades or other FERPA-protected information with parents, guardians and other guests unless the student has authorized MyASU Parent Guest Access. Students are encouraged to practice self advocacy and troubleshoot their own questions and challenges.
  • If you’re concerned about the wellbeing of your student, please contact student success director Mary Cook.
  • If you have questions about housing and meal plans, contact ASU Housing.
  • If you have questions about tuition, billing and financial aid, contact ASU Tuition and Aid.
