Arizona PBS and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication collectively received 36 Emmy® and Student Production Award nominations.

The Cronkite School ranked as the top overall school in the Broadcast Education Association’s (BEA) first ranking of schools based on the creative achievement of their students. 

The Cronkite Award luncheon will take place on March 1 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown.

Arizona PBS and the Cronkite School have partnered to launch the first-ever class to introduce students to the state’s largest public television station. 

The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University is now accepting entries for the 2020-2021 Shaufler Prize in Journalism.

Cronkite students captured 29 awards -- including four professional awards and all eight first- place awards in the student categories -- in the 2020 Arizona Press Club contest.
