Recruiter visits
Connect directly with recruiters from top media organizations. Explore upcoming recruiter visits.
The Cronkite Career Services team hosts recruiters throughout the school year. During the fall and spring semesters, recruiters from major news organizations will interview with soon-to-be graduates for open positions in a variety of markets. Students are encouraged to sign up for multiple recruiter visits.
Why should I meet with a recruiter?
Meeting with a recruiter can help you get your foot in the door. Large media companies, like NBC, Scripps, and Gray TV, rely on their recruiters to find top-notch talent to fill open positions. Some companies, like NBC and Scripps have fellowship and career programs designed to help new grads enter the job market. Working with a recruiter directly could give you a leg up when applying for post-grad programs or your first job.
