For the 11th consecutive year, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University’s Downtown Phoenix campus will host the Dow Jones News Fund digital media residency for college students across the U.S. The digital skills training will be held May 20-29.

Under the direction of retired Cronkite School Alumni/Career Services Director Mike Wong, the program is designed to teach or refresh digital media skills to 21 students before they begin full-time, paid summer internships in various newsrooms.

“DJNF is an excellent summer internship program,” Wong said. “DJNF’s goal is to further prepare college students for their internships through an intense week of digital media training. They will learn from some of the best in the industry and at one of the premier journalism schools in the country.”

“We are thrilled and honored to host this prestigious program for another year and can’t wait to meet these talented students,” added Wong.
