Fellows also will receive training on how to use grants, contests and challenges as teaching opportunities. The program is limited to 12 fellows, who will be competitively selected. Training, transportation, lodging, materials and meals will be provided through the fellowship. Fluency in new media is preferred but not required. To be considered, candidates must submit an online application, a statement, their curriculum vitae or resume and a letter from their dean or department chair indicating their school’s plans to introduce a class in journalism entrepreneurship within the following academic year.
