Have you ever felt stuck when you’ve sat down to write a story, even though you devoted a lot of time and energy to reporting it? Writer’s block is a common struggle, often because the writing comes before the journalist knows what the story is about. In this workshop, Cronkite School Professor of Practice Fernanda Santos will share strategies to help you differentiate an idea from a story and, with that, find your focus.

This event is free for students.
