Many of us place too much importance on fate, on randomness, in how events play out, both in our personal lives and in the lives of others. In many ways, we do it to give us a convenient out, an excuse for our behavior.

In “Arc of the Narrative: Advanced Storytelling Techniques with award-winning sportswriter and author Michael Arkush,” students will closely examine why people make the decisions they make, how those decisions fit into a logical pattern and how those patterns can lead to great stories.

Two sessions will be offered. Students should register for either the 10 a.m. to noon session or 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. session. Click here to register.
