Celebrate the opening of the Cronkite Borderlands Initiative photojournalism exhibit, which highlights the work of Cronkite students who traveled to Panama, Tapachula (Mexico), the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. Students and faculty will share their experiences and future opportunities for international reporting. Food and refreshments will be served at 4:30 p.m. The discussion with faculty and students will start at 5 p.m.
The Cronkite Borderlands Initiative offers students transformative experiences: traveling to border regions around the world to report on migration, humanitarian crises and the economic, environmental, political and cultural forces that influence change around the world.
