Recruiters for Gray TV will be interviewing Cronkite rising juniors, seniors and graduate students for Gray’s virtual Student Mentorship Program. Students who have more than three months to go before graduation and want to be News MMJs, News Producers, or Meteorologists are eligible. Through virtual connections, students will receive writing feedback, script approval and coaching with on-air presence. Students can interact with employees at a station who are doing work that the students want to pursue.
The experience allows students to experience the realities of working in a newsroom on a daily basis and get the inside track to paid internships and post-graduation permanent job opportunities.
Your resume and link to your reel are required to attend.
Click here to register. Zoom is available for interviews if you are unable to attend in-person, though we strongly encourage to be in-person.
To be considered, all material must be submitted through this form by Monday, Sept. 25. Please contact us with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
