Join us as Barrett, The Honors College and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication host developing conversations following last year’s inaugural Black Men’s Wellness Town Hall.
The event will include a keynote followed by breakout sessions and a culminating discussion with a panel of community members and leaders. Networking and tabling sessions, which will feature light appetizers and organizations involved in health care, education, and racial equity will end the evening. Those who attend will develop a greater understanding of the health care disparities amongst black men, connect with those on the front lines working to close the gap, and break bread with a community of scholars or activists who are committed to seeing healthcare literacy and access truly equitable.
