Adrian Holovaty will lead a discussion on journalism and the Web in a world where databases are one of the greatest information sources. Holovaty currently runs EveryBlock.com, a project funded by the Knight Foundation to provide community information in several cities. He was a database journalist with The Washington Post and the Lawrence (Kansas) Journal-World. He also is the creator and leader of the Web development platform Django.
