Who you’ll become

Victoria Valenzuela

I’ll be responsible for overseeing our coverage of Colorado’s diverse communities, in line with our DE&I metrics. I’ll also have the opportunity to create my own content. Perhaps most importantly, I’ll be connecting with community leaders across the state, so we can better understand where our coverage succeeds, and where we have opportunity for improvement. My time at Cronkite gave me the basic skills to succeed in a newsroom. I, of course, was green walking into my first shop, but I was able to hold my own as a producer. From editorial meetings to boothing my newscast, I felt well prepared.
