NABEF Media Sales Institute (MSI)


The Media Sales Institute (MSI) is an intense weeklong workshop (June 6-13, 2017) designed to introduce graduating seniors to the nuts and bolts of media sales as a career. MSI trains candidates in radio, television, cable, print, digital and Internet sales. Professionals from the industry will serve as the institute’s “faculty” and will be prepared to offer employment to selected graduates. The program is led by Mark Lodato, the Cronkite School’s assistant dean and news director, also a former investigative reporter at CBS 5. The program is open to qualified recent graduates. Students will be selected on a competitive basis. The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reinforcing the future of broadcasting through a commitment to education.
