Cronkite Convocation Speech by Margaret Brennan

Congratulations to all of you!

Think of the all-nighters that you worked, pennies that you scraped together and moments of doubt that you had along the way. And I’m talking to the parents too not just the graduates. You set out a goal, realized there were no shortcuts and hunkered down. That’s the most important lesson that you learned here.

Building Hours

For the fall 2020 semester, students may access the Cronkite building from 6 a.m. to midnight Mondays-Thursdays, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The building is locked at all times; access is through Sun Card only.

Outside of regular business hours – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. – students are restricted to the second floor forum and the adjoining student study area, as well as edit bays and labs on the third floor. All other areas of the building are off-limits.
