For Rheya Spigner, pursuing a career in broadcast journalism has also allowed her to make a difference in her community.
Spigner, a 2013 graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, was accepted into the online Master of Legal Studies (MLS) degree program at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she will focus on social justice reform. She’s currently an anchor with KCCI in Des Moines, Iowa.
