Entrepreneurship in the Digital Space

Entrepreneurial Workshop

Saturday, November 16, 2013 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

Want to create the next big digital product? Are you the next Steve Jobs? Do you have an idea for an app, website or technology product that could change the world?

Discover what goes into creating a successful digital product and how technology and journalism go together in this free workshop for Cronkite students. You’ll compete to brainstorm the best digital entrepreneurial product … in a day.

Plus, you can get advice on how to set your project apart from others when applying to ASU funding competitions like the Edson Initiative.

Cronkite professor of practice and veteran entrepreneur Dan Gillmor and Director of the Cronkite New Media Innovation Lab Retha Hill will lead the workshop, along with fellow entrepreneurs and venture funders as speakers and judges. We’ll cover critical concepts of entrepreneurship and resources and point you in the right direction to make your ideas happen.
