PBS NewsHour Looks to the West

Must See Mondays

Monday, February 10, 2020 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

“PBS NewsHour” has a long history of setting the standard for broadcast journalism. When PBS NewsHour ‘West’ opened as a bureau inside Cronkite, it created a tremendous opportunity for students while giving the show a perch to use to help provide deeper and more nuanced news coverage of issues critical to the West.

What’s in store for the new bureau, how will it help with coverage of issues from the border to elections, and what impact will the bureau have on students? Join Richard Coolidge, senior producer, and Stephanie Sy, anchor, of PBS NewsHour West in a discussion moderated by Associate Dean Mark Lodato.
