Incredibly Short Environmental Film Festival

Tuesday, June 16, 2015 - 6:30pm

Join the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability for a free screening of four short films created by students from the School of Sustainability and the Cronkite School, under the direction of Sustainability Scientist and Cronkite Professor of Practice Peter Byck.

  • "Enlisting the Sun" (Amy Gleich, Sarah Brooks, Alexandra Evans, Jessie Wardarski) highlights the connections between renewable energy and our veterans – both in and out of combat.
  • "Garden City" (Vianka Villa, EJ Hernandez, Aidan Cooney, Chris Smith) reveals how urban gardening grows community.
  • "Water Rainglers" (Koren "Ren" Andres, Thomas Hawthorne, Jason Henry) celebrates a group of Arizonans doing what they can to better use this free and natural resource.
  • "Gut Feeling" (Van Patterson, Marianna Hauglie, Geoff Goodwin, Carolina Marquez) probes the connections among the condition of agricultural soils, human health, and the small solutions that may lead to a more sustainable food future.
