Special Screening and Panel Discussion
The Cronkite School will hold a public screening of “Hooked: Tracking Heroin’s Hold on Arizona,” an investigative report produced by Cronkite students on the growing perils of heroin and opioid use, on Tuesday, Jan. 13, in the First Amendment Forum at 6:30 p.m.
A special panel discussion, featuring students who worked on the project airing on all broadcast television and most radio stations in Arizona, will take place immediately following the screening at 7 p.m. Cronkite faculty member Jacquee Petchel, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who led the investigation, will moderate the discussion.
The screening and panel discussion are open to students, faculty, staff and members of the community.
