ESPN’s production department is visiting ASU.
The network’s Content Associate Program is an entry-level program targeted toward creating the next generation of production leaders. Production assistants and content associates contribute to studio shows such as "SportsCenter," "College GameDay" and "Baseball Tonight," in addition to events like the NBA Finals, U.S. Open Tennis and the World Cup. Typical duties include cutting highlights, assisting talent in studio and running social media feeds.
The ESPN information session will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5-6 p.m. in Room 202 at the Cronkite School.
Before the information session, ESPN will hold smaller conversation times for seniors and graduate students who are within a year of graduation and who seek off-camera production jobs. Those meeting times will be between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday April 10. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org and use the subject line: ESPN.
