Arizona Coyotes Content Hub in the Cronkite Agency

Students produce multimedia content for the Arizona Coyotes’ digital platforms.

Content beyond the rink

Work in collaboration with the Valley’s NHL franchise to tell off-ice stories in the Arizona Coyotes Content Hub in the Cronkite Agency.

Students produce, promote and analyze strategic content about the team and its community engagement initiatives.

In this strategic storytelling experience housed in the Cronkite Agency, the Cronkite School’s integrated strategic communications agency, students will synthesize client goals into dynamic original content to help the Coyotes tell their story and cultivate strong connections with their target audience.

Multimedia stories that students produce may include video, digital, photo and social content that will be distributed across the Coyotes multimedia channels.

While based in content creation and storytelling, students will also learn how to gain a deeper understanding of the audience, measure success of content through digital analytics, and use that knowledge to make adjustments to future content plans in real-time, all to optimize performance on behalf of the client.

Students will deploy the skills they’ve learned in the Cronkite curriculum in a real-world setting under the guidance of a veteran strategic communications professional. Students learn to collaborate as a team and provide exceptional service to clients, including participating in regular meetings with the Coyotes and presenting ongoing reports to the client.

The Arizona Coyotes Content Hub offers valuable experience to students passionate about sports and interested in telling stories on behalf of a brand, particularly those interested in working for a sports team, league, conference, or athletic department.
