Spring 2020: Virtual Cronkite Convocation

The Cronkite School’s first virtual convocation on May 12 celebrated more than 400 graduates in a real-time ceremony that included congratulations and advice from 27 accomplished journalists, ranging from Judy Woodruff of PBS to Michael Wilbon of ESPN.

More than 700 graduates, family members and friends joined the ceremony on YouTube and nearly 300 did so on Facebook Live, with thousands more viewing the ceremony after the fact.

Here are highlights from the ceremony and student celebrations.

We honor the Cronkite School's graduating class of 2020 in a special convocation celebration led by Dean Christopher Callahan. Congrats, #CronkiteNation!
