PIN Bureau Student Information

Students in the PIN Bureau work in a state-of-the-art newsroom on the second floor of the Cronkite School, partnering with media organizations across the country and the school’s own award-winning news organizations — Cronkite News and Carnegie-Knight News21.

Students learn the tools and practices of community and audience engagement as well as important reporting, analytical and entrepreneurial skills needed for today’s demanding journalism jobs. Students build relationships with a variety of professional journalists and learn what it takes to launch a media startup.

Advanced undergraduate students earn academic credit in the PIN Bureau, and graduate students can fulfill part of their required capstone.
