Walter Cronkite and Our StudentsWalter Cronkite was closely involved with the journalism program at Arizona State University since the school was named in his honor in 1984 until his death in July 2009 at the age of 92. The former CBS News anchor visited with ASU journalism students annually, giving them the benefits of insights drawn from an extraordinary career in journalism.
