The Media Sales Institute is an intensive 10-day workshop designed to introduce graduating seniors to the nuts and bolts of media sales as a career. MSI trains candidates in radio, television, cable, print, digital and Internet sales.
Professionals from the industry will serve as the institute’s “faculty” and will be prepared to offer employment to selected graduates. The program is led by Mark Lodato, the Cronkite School’s assistant dean and news director, also a former investigative reporter at CBS 5.
MSI is an effective program for identifying and developing media professionals and has served as a gateway for young, talented individuals of diverse backgrounds into media sales. The program brings together the broadcast industry, media companies and sales candidates. The GM Foundation and Gannett Foundation are program supporters.
Registration is closed for this program. For more information, visit http://cronkite.asu.edu/media-sales-institute.
