Paul J. Schatt Memorial Lecture

Babak Dehghanpisheh, former Baghdad bureau chief for Newsweek, will give the Spring 2009 Paul J. Schatt Memorial Lecture. Dehghanpisheh will draw on his personal experiences covering Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon to discuss how the global war on terror will be won not by battles but by who is able to win the hearts and minds of the people of the Middle East. The award-winning journalist is currently a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University.
