With U.S. Rep. Harry Mitchell, D-Ariz., and U.S. Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., in attendance, veterans, education officials and others at the American Legion's national convention sounded off Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, on the new GI Bill, which is intended to make it easier for active duty military and veterans to seek higher education. Three of the veterans discuss what the GI Bill means to them.
