Lawmaker: Regulate firms offering 'native' ceremonies

State Sen. Albert Hale, D-St. Michaels, has introduced a bill that would establish regulations for businesses and individuals selling participation in off-reservation ceremonies advertised as Native American. Hale, a Navajo, and supporters of his bill say it would help prevent tragedies such as three deaths during a sweat lodge ceremony in Sedona last October.
