Bequests

A bequest is one of the simplest ways to make a gift to the Cronkite School. A bequest is the act of giving something through a will, typically personal property or assets. If you are interested in making a bequest to the Cronkite School, please talk to your attorney to discuss and update your will.

The official bequest language for the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication is: “I, [name], of [city, state], give, devise and bequeath [insert dollar amount or percentage of estate] to Arizona State University Foundation, a separate, nonprofit corporation, located in Tempe, Arizona, to be used for the benefit of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.”

If you want your donation to be used for a specific program within the Cronkite School, please include the designation in your will.

We hope you’ll tell us when you have named the Cronkite School in your will. We would appreciate having the opportunity to thank you for your generosity.
