Visual Opportunities at the School

Media are welcome to come to the Cronkite School for photo or video shoots. The following places are suggested. Please contact Julie Newberg (julie.newberg@asu.edu; 480.727.3116) or Megan Calcote (megan.calcote@asu.edu; 602.496.7845) to make arrangements.

  • Clifford Gallery on second floor of the Cronkite Building. Includes wall-length display case of Cronkite memorabilia, including lifetime Emmy Award, typewriter, books, pipes and newspapers.
  • The big screen in The First Amendment Forum, second floor of the building, will be showing a continuous loop of video of Cronkite.
  • Seminar room on third floor (Room 355) that features Cronkite quote “And that’s the way it is” on wall.
  • Outside building, southwest corner on Central Avenue and Taylor Place, electronic news ticker will be scrolling information about Cronkite.
  • Cronkite signage on the second floor outside of the Cronkite Theater across from elevators.
  • Cronkite NewsWatch television studio and news set on sixth floor, with photo of Cronkite on the anchor desk monitor.
  • Large photos of Walter Cronkite outside of Leadership Suite on third floor near elevators.
