Student media and other student organizations will be represented throughout Cronkite Day in the First Amendment Forum. Come by and meet today’s student leaders of some of our well-established groups, such as the State Press, the Blaze, the Society of Professional Journalists, Cronkite Village, the Public Relations Students Society of America, the Radio-Television News Directors Association, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Association of Multicultural Journalists. And you’ll be able to find out about some of the school’s newest student groups, such as the Downtown Devil and student chapters of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, the Asian American Journalists Association, National Press Photographers Association, the Associated Press Television and Radio Association and the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association.
Plus, we’ll have tables with Cronkite representatives to talk about all of the newest restaurants, clubs, stores and cultural venues in downtown Phoenix, the upcoming events planned at the Cronkite School, the ASU Alumni Association and the Cronkite Development Office.
