PROSPECTIVE FRESHMEN & TRANSFER STUDENTS
The Cronkite School holds regular building tours and information sessions for prospective undergraduate students that provide in-depth information about Cronkite's programs, curriculum and student opportunities, usually from a knowledgeable staff member.
WHEN TO VISIT
We recommend that prospective students visit on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday in the heart of the fall or spring semester, as that timing affords families the added opportunity to also visit classes, see students in action and meet key faculty members. See below to verify that there is a tour of Cronkite offered on your planned date prior to booking your travel arrangements.
FALL 2015 TOUR DATES
Cronkite also welcomes visitors on most dates when a campus tour is offered. Fall Cronkite tours commence at approximately 10:30 a.m. (following the "Experience ASU" campus tour) on the following dates:
During the fall and spring semesters, optional sessions allow prospective students to observe the Cronkite School's nightly newscast on PBS. These sessions are held later in the day, following "Experience ASU" and Cronkite tours.
Scheduled Cronkite tours are preceded by a campus and housing tour and ASU information session. If you need to schedule a Cronkite tour outside of the dates listed above, please contact Cronkite's outreach coordinator at Cassandra.Nicholson@asu.edu.
You can reserve your spot at visit.asu.edu. NOTE: Be sure to check "Downtown Phoenix campus" and "Communications and Media" on the drop-down menu then "Journalism" on the page that follows in order to be sure there is a Cronkite School session available on your preferred date.
Not a prospective freshman or transfer student? See below.

Tours for Prospective Graduate Students
The Cronkite School encourages prospective graduate students to visit the school in fall and spring to experience a typical “Day in the Life” of a professional master’s student. Several experiences are offered each semester.
Fall 2015 tour dates will be announced soon. To RSVP for a prospective graduate student tour, contact Andrea Tang at firstname.lastname@example.org.
